Admission Requirements
Persons who wish to apply for admissions into the college must meet the following requirements;
- All WASSCE Holders must have credit passes ie. A1-C6 in Six (6)subjects. It must consist of Three (3) Core subjects, including English Language and Core Mathematics, and Three (3) Elective subjects that are relevant to the course you’re applying for.
- All SSSCE Holders must also possess credits ie. A-D in Six (6) subjects. It must consist of Three (3) Core subjects, ie. English Language, Core Mathematics, Science or Social Studies and Three (3) Elective subjects relevant to the course of study.
- CandidatesĀ awaiting WASSCE and NABPTEX RESULTS can also apply for admissions into the college as awaiting results.
- General Certificate of Education (GCE) Advance Level holders must possess passes in three (3) subjects with at least one of them been Grade D or better. Must also have credit passes (Grade 6) in five GCE Ordinary Level subjects including English Language, Mathematics, and a Science subject (for non-science students) and an Arts subjects (for Science students).
- Advanced Business Certificate Examination (ABCE) Holders must have passes in three (3) subjects with the least Grade been Grade D. Additionally he or she must have credit passes in five (5) subjects, including English Language, Mathematics, Integrated Science, or Social Studies in the General Business Certificate Examination (GBCE).
- Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Holders must possess Certificate II in three (3) relevant trade areas awarded by TEU, NVTI, City & Guilds, and other authorised awarding bodies in addition to NABPTEX Certificate II in lieu of passes in English and Mathematics. Must have NABPTEX certificate II in relevant trade areas in addition to three (3) credit passes in WASSCE/SSSCE core subjects, including English and Mathematics. Posses a National Certificate II qualification in Competency Based Training (CBT) in a relevant trade area awarded by TEU on the National TVET Qualification Framework (NTVETQF).
- Foreign Qualifications: students applying for admissions into the college with foreign qualifications must becreferred to the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC) so they can determid equivalences and eligibility for admission in the college.
- NB: Holders of American SAT, TOEFL, etc must note that, such qualifications alone is not enough to qualify for admissions into the college.
