The ever-controversial Ghanaian television personality and self-acclaimed Queen of Ghana comedy, Valentina Nana Agyeiwaa, popularly known as Afia Schwarzenegger has hit back at critics for saying she married an American for papers.
The controversial television personality has been criticized by a section of Ghanaians after she got married in the US to one Mr Duah despite stating in the past that she would never marry again.
Since news of her marriage broke, a lot of Ghanaians shared their opinion on the matter with many believing that she married the American for papers.
However, she has finally come out to debunk such speculations, claiming that she doesn’t need citizenship in America. The TV personality who is never shy of the camera as usual took to social media to address the issue once and for all in a live video.
She said “I can see you people are pained. If you sit down and think about it, things were going on for me before I decided to get married to an American. So I don’t really need it.”
“The papers come with the marriage but I don’t need it. You people are just pained.”
She went further to brag about the assets she already had before she even decided to get married. “How many people in America own a Benz, a Honda, an S6, a Prado and a house? How many are there? I didn’t have an American citizenship before I amassed all these properties so I really don’t need it but what is painful is that the marriage comes with citizenship.”
