In a brief ceremony held in his hometown, Thomas was enstooled as chief of the town and was given the title “Mahefalor” by the Chief of Krobo Traditional Area, Nene Sakite II.
The title means “Defender of Krobo Traditional Area. It seems the player’s purpose on earth is to defend as he is a defensive midfielder in his playing career (laughs).
