Benito Owusu-Bio is a land economist and a politician belonging to the New Patriotic Party. He became member of parliament for Atwima-Nwabiagya constituency in the Ashanti region of Ghana since 2005.
He was born on November 1, 1968 and hails from Akropong in the Ashanti region of Ghana.
Benito obtained a bachelor of science degree in Land Economy from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology in 1994. He also holds a Master’s degree in Sociology in Hospitality from the University of Birmingham in 1998.

Prior to becoming an MP in 2005, Benito worked as a general manager at the Hotel Georgia Limited in Kumasi. Benito emerged winner in the 2004 parliamentary elections in Atwima Nwabiagya North.
He has since been retained by his constituents in the 5th, 6th, 7th and 8th parliament of the 4th Republic of Ghana. He served on the Roads and Transport Committee in the 7th Parliament of the 4th Republic of Ghana.
Benito was appointed by President Nana Addo in his second term in office as the Deputy Minister of Lands and Natural Resources.
Benito Owusu-Bio is married with three children.
