Ghana’s very own, Mohammed Ismail Sherif, popularly known as Black Sherif has won big at the Headies Awards 2023 as he was named “West African Artiste of the Year”.
The talented Ghanaian singer has been on fire over the past few years and continues to make a name for himself with his craft.
This recent win at the Headies comes a few months after he was adjudged Artiste of the Year at the 2023 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
He had an incredible year under review in which he released his debut album “The Villain I Never Was” which was a massive success.
The Headies Awards 2023 was held at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Center in Atlanta where he was hoping to win ‘African Artiste of the Year” as well. Unfortunately, he lost out to Rema of Nigeria
