Actor, Brendan Fraser finally wins his first Oscars after acting for over 30 years and couldn’t hide his joy as he sheds tears of joy whiles delivering his acceptance speech.
This happens to be the first time the actor has ever received an Oscar nomination since he started his career in the 1990s and managed to win it as well.
He won the Academy Award for Best Actor in a Leading Role for his role in “The Whale” on Sunday night. He beat off competition from fellow nominees Colin Farrell, Paul Mescal, Austin Butler and Bill Nighy.

Here is what Fraser had to say in his acceptance speech “So this is what the multiverse looks like! Only whales can swim at the depth of the talent of Hong Chau and I started in this business 30 years ago and things didn’t come easily to me,”.
He then went on to thank his cast and family for all the support they’ve given him.
Before winning the Oscars last night, Fraser had already won Screen Actors Guild Award for Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role and the Critics Choice Awards for Best Actor for his role in “The Whale.”
