Ghanaian comedian, actor and event host, Derrick Kobina Bonney, popularly known as DKB has outlined how difficult it can be for one to succeed in Ghana as a comedian as compared to Nigeria.
DKB is arguably one of the top stand up comedians in the country but is also one of the most criticised. He is often times trolled by Ghanaians as not being funny enough despite the efforts he puts in his works. And it seems the comedian has noticed the difference between Ghanaian comedians and those from Nigeria.

He made his observations known after popular Nigerian comedian, Sabinus posted a picture of himself cruising in his new Benz on twitter which clearly shows that he is benefiting handsomely from comedy. Reacting to the tweet, DKB drew a comparison between the two countries.
He said “To make it as a comedian.
Nigeria: be funny, make millions.
Ghana: be funny, defend your funny, attack your enemies, fight for your mental health, fight depression, tolerate mockery, fight PHD agenda, make small money, expected to give the money back to so called “fans”.
