Dr. Mark Assibey-Yeboah is a Ghanaian politician belonging to the New Patriotic Party. He is a former member of parliament for New Juaben South constituency in the Eastern region of Ghana.
He was born Mark Assibey-Yeboah on March 2, 1974 in Obo-Kwahu in the Eastern region of Ghana.
Dr. Assibey-Yeboah obtained his GCE Ordinary Level at Presbyterian Boys secondary school and went to Ghana Secondary School, Koforidua for his GCE Advanced Level. He holds a BSc (Hons) Agricultural Economics degree from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST).
Additionally, he holds an MS (Agricultural and Resource Economics) from the University of Delaware, USA. Mark also holds an MA and a Ph.D. both in Economics from the University of Tennessee, USA specializing in International Macroeconomics, Monetary Economics and Econometrics.
Dr. Mark Assibey-Yeboah is a man with many years of work experience serving in various capacities. He was a lecturer at University of Tennessee, USA, Ghana Telecom University College and Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
He has worked as a Senior Economist at the Bank of Ghana, Consultant, Board Member for ADB Bank 2018-2021.
He was a member of parliament for New Juaben South constituency in the 6th and 7th parliament of Ghana.
Dr. Mark Assibey-Yeboah served as a member of the Finance Committee and Youth and Sports Committees of the 6th Parliament and was Chairman of the Finance Committee for the 7th parliament.
