legendary Ghanaian midfielder, Sulley Muntari has been given a rather unfortunate welcome to the Ghana Premier League after a fan allegedly made away with his IPhone 12 Pro Max.
Sulley Muntari, who played most of his professional football in Europe has returned to his home country to play for Accra Hearts of Oak.
He signed for the Accra based club earlier this year hence the Sunday game against Kotoko was his first “Ghana Classico” since he returned. And what a welcome he was given. His IPhone 12 Pro max was allegedly stolen by an unknown fan.
Hearts of Oak Spokesperson, Kwame Opare Addo confirmed the news on Asempa FM saying “Yes, I heard of the incident. Sulley was doing a photo session with some of the fans and unfortunately, someone picked his phone from his pocket.”
The ex-blackstars international played 52 minutes in the 0-0 draw with rivals Kumasi Asante Kotoko on Sunday.
