Popular nollywood star, Tonto Dikeh has tried to explain why most strangers offer help more willingly than family.
The beautiful and charming actress is one of the top stars in the nollywood movie industry. She has managed to stay at the top of her career for so many years but unfortunately couldn’t do so in her love and family life.

She is a divorcee and a mother of one who recently came out to say she is being blackmailed by her ex lover.
So from her experience, it’s clear she can say a thing or two about people whether family or strangers. She has tried to explain why most strangers help more than family members.
According to her, COMPETITION is the main reason why she believes family members do not usually help out freely.

She made this known in an instagram post earlier today that reads The Reason Why Strangers Help And Family Doesn’t Is Because Strangers See Potential, Family Sees Competition.
To her, strangers sees the Potential in you hence are ready to help or invest in you whereas Family sees Competition hence wouldn’t help you when you need them.
These comments by the actress is not rocket science hence may not apply in most cases.
