The record label of award winning Ghanaian songstress Wendy Shay has issued a formal statement a day after the singer was involved in a near fatal accident on Sunday.
The Rufftown Records signee was involved in an accident at midnight on Sunday on the ACP Kwabenya road after a tipper truck collided with her car.
Thankfully, the singer managed to escape the accident very much alive and was rushed to the hospital.
Since then, her fans and the general public have been concerned about the state of her health following the accident hence her label has finally issued a statement informing the general public that she is stable and is expected to make a full recovery soon.
“We are pleased to announce that Wendy Shay has survived a fatal accident and is currently responding to treatment. The accident occured on Sunday September 10, around 12 midnight at the ACP Kwabenya high road when a tipper truck hit the singer’d car from the back. The singer was immediately rushed to the hospital where she received prompt medical attention.
“According to the latest medical reports, Wendy Shay is in a stable condition and is expected to make a full recovery. Rufftown records, family and friends would like to thank everyone for their prayers and for the outpouring of love and support from fans and well wishers.” they said in the statement
