Legendary Highlife artiste, Theophilus Kofi Nti popularly known as Kofi Nti for short has denied claims made by certain musicians that smoking enhances the voice.
However, the “akonta” hitmaker thinks otherwise. According to him, it’s never true that smoking enhances the voice and that if it were so, we will have alot of smokers from the ghettos reigning in the music industry.

He therefore believes that aside having the natural talent, singers/musicians must polish their skill or do certain things to maintain their voice. This he believes can be achieved by eating lots of bananas as a musician and also doing lots of voice trainings.
Kofi Nti has released several hit songs in the past and one thing that is noted for is his great vocals. He has hit songs such as atweetan, wansena, Rakia, Odo Kaen etc.
