Ghanaian tiktok star, Martina Dwamena, popularly known as Asantewaa says she is like the salt, and that if she doesn’t promote a newly released song, it won’t blow as she goes on to reveal why she no longer promotes Ghanaian music on her socials.
Asantewaa is one of the top tiktokers in Ghana with lots of following. As a result, musicians now tend to use her and other tiktok stars to promote their music.
However, the tiktok star opened up in a recent interview with Nana Romeo on Accra FM that she has stopped promoting Ghanaian music.
According to her, she took this decision not to promote Ghanaian music because of the attacks she received last year regarding her comments on how much she charges artistes to promote their music.
She added that the musicians do not have money to pay for her services because her brand is now solid so she has stopped completely.
The interviewer then drew her attention to the fact that no Ghanaian artiste has managed to drop a hit song in the past few months and her response was just hilarious.
According to her, she is like the salt, if she doesn’t promote your music, it won’t blow.
