Members of parliament today had a serious prayer session to pray against LGBTQ+ as they prepare to pass a bill that will criminalise the act of same sex relationships/marriage.
The issue of same sex marriage or what is known as LGBTQ+ is gradually gaining momentum in the country with some Human Rights activists pushing for it to be legalised in the country.

However, majority of Ghanaians are against it which includes members of parliament as well. And today, some parliamentarians led by Hon. Sam George met to draft a bill that will criminalise the act.

The speaker of parliament, Rt Honorable Alban Sumana Bagbin meanwhile labels LGBTQ+ as a pandemic that is worse than the coronavirusand must be fought by all.
