Ghanaian Artiste manager and publicist George Britton has caused a bit of shock in the public after disclosing that they spent well over 100,000 dollars to promote Camidoh’s ‘Sugarcane’ song that went viral.
Camidoh took Ghana music by storm after releasing his ‘Sugarcane’ song in 2021 that went viral in Ghana and the world.
But it appears aside the fact that it’s a very nice song, it had to take the promotional and marketing expertise of Britton for the song to go that far and to top several charts.
According to him, they’ve spent over 100,000 so far in promoting the song. He made this revelation while speaking as a panelist on TV3’s New Day.

He said “for now it’s even more, we’ve entered into 100k plus dollars. We want to make a lot of business sense, we also want to touch the world with the music and make an impact. Clearly, if you want to make more money you need to invest more money.”
As we speak, ‘Sugarcane’ by Camidoh has amassed over six million views on YouTube alone with the remix which features Mayorkun and King Promise exceeding 59 million views.
